South Metro Denver Chamber's 2nd annual B.I.G. Day

30 Area non-profits and 1,000 volunteers working together and joining forces makes for a good mix. That was the goal for the 2012 edition of the B.I.G. Day set for Saturday, April 21st from 8:30 to 12:00.
B.I.G. stands for “Be Involved, Give.” Because of the success of last year’s event, the goal was to have one-thousand volunteers spend Saturday morning at even more non-profits.
“Last year’s event surpassed all our expectations,” says John Brackney, President and CEO of the South Metro Denver Chamber of Commerce. “501 volunteers spent a Saturday morning at two-dozen non-profit agencies. Non-profits got to showcase all they do to volunteers from the business community and relationships were created. Best of all, everyone had a great time. We expect this year to be bigger and better!”
We had the opportunity to photograph 4 different groups of volunteers on Saturday April 21, 2012. Here are a few of the photographs.
