Located in Denver's hip LoDo neighborhood the Grand Salon was the place to be on Thursday Feb 9 when we photographed a few of their team members. Using 19th century historic buildings as backdrops we took fashion shots of Anna Laurel Shuttlesworth, April Ramquist, Corinne Denning, and Kelsey Lundquist for Grand's advertising/marketing needs on its website, facebook pages, and for collatoral marketing materials.
Shelly Rewinkle opened the doors to Grand Salon in 2004 with a vision of creating a fun, hip and energetic salon dedicated to individual style and seamless customer service. A California native and longtime Denver resident, Shelly brings her warm personality and passion for customer care to Denver’s favorite young style boutique.
Shelly has worked in the beauty industry since 1989. Prior to opening Grand, Shelly’s career took her to Denver’s Oxford Club, Luxe and Crush salons. Her expert training in cut, color and relaxers comes from Aveda, Phytologie, Bumble & bumble, American Crew and MOP. Shelly and her staff believe that each client’s experience is vital to the success of Grand Salon: every client, every day. From a stress-melting shampoo and scalp massage, to an open and insightful stylist consultation, to the slammin’ final result … the Grand staff is dedicated to client über-happiness.
Grand Salon has been dedicated to bringing inspiration and beauty to all of its guests since day one. With superior customer service, and a passion to seek out the best education from around the world, they strive to create an honest, fun, and relaxed atmosphere that encourages, inspires, and supports their team members in reaching their own personal dreams leading them to have an incredibly low employment turnover.
Grand has achieved numerous accolades in local media such as Denver Channel 7’s A-List and 5280’s Top of the Town and participates annually in a number of charitable foundations such as Wee Styles, Family Tree and many local schools.
