The route from Steamboat Springs to Breckenridge during Stage 5 of the USA Pro Cycling Challenge included two KOMs and two sprint competitions for a challenging second-to-last day of racing. With two KOMs and 105 miles on the roads, this stage favors a all-around rider. The crowds at the top of the climbs, especially Swan Mtn. were epic. But in the end a sprinter, Elia Viviani won the stage for a 2nd day in a row.
The start today was at the base of Mt.Werner in Steamboat Springs.
